4 eggs
1 cup (260 g) almond butter or
sunflower seed butter
1/3 cup (115 g) maple syrup
2 tablespoons (28 g) grass-fed butter, melted
2 tablespoons (24 g) coconut palm sugar
2 tablespoons (14 g) floor cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
¼ cup (35 g) raisins or currants
¼ cup (25 g) walnuts (non-compulsory)
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C, or fuel mark 3). Grease an 8 x 8-inch
(20 x 20-cm) baking dish with coconut oil or palm shortening.
2. In a big bowl, mix the eggs, almond butter, maple syrup, butter, coconut
palm sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, baking soda, and salt and stir till easy.
Fold within the raisins and walnuts, if utilizing. Pour the batter into the ready baking dish and transfer
the dish round to make sure the batter is even. Bake for 25 minutes, or till a toothpick inserted in the midst of the bars comes out clear. Permit to chill for half-hour earlier than reducing into bars and having fun with.
